Q and A + Topics

Where are library computers located?

For UVM affiliates:

Most computers at our libraries require (UVM NetID) authentication. They can be found:

Howe Memorial Library

  • On the main level in the Reference area.
  • On the 2nd floor, turn left. The workstations are located just past all of the windows along the outside wall.
  • In the Center for Multimedia Development lab.

Public Access Computers:

There are several public access computers available at Howe and Dana which do not require login credentials. They provide access to limited web searching and can be used for research and email. They can be found:

Howe Memorial Library

  • On the bottom floor, outside of the Government Documents/Maps Department.
  • On the main level, as you turn left to go to the Cyber Café. One of these is a wheelchair accessible workstation.
  • On the 2nd and 3rd floors, there is one each at the top of the main staircase, near the elevator. There is also one located on the 3rd floor, halfway down the main aisle to the right of the staircase (between the PQ ad PR call number ranges.)

Dana Health Sciences Library

You may also login with your UVM NetID for additional access on these computers.

  • Two in the front of the library.
  • One in North Study in the back of the library.
  • Two in South Study in the back of the library. These computers are also accessible during after hours study.
