Q and A + Topics

Are there any jobs in the library for students?

Yes, there are a wide variety of jobs available to UVM students at the library. These jobs may involve

  • helping library users at public service desks
  • book shelving
  • book preservation.

All student jobs are part-time and we can often work around class schedules. There are day, night, and weekend hours available. We welcome applications from students who qualify for the Federal Work Study program, but it is NOT a requirement to apply. You must be a UVM student to apply to work in the library.

Open student worker positions are posted at the beginning of the semester on the UVM Student Employment Office JobX platform. Login with your UVM NetID and password. You may also find internship opportunities at UVM Libraries- these positions will also be posted on the JobX platform.
